Sussman Shank is pleased to welcome respected litigation attorney John Parsons as Special Counsel in the firm’s Litigation Department. John brings over 30 years of experience as a business and commercial litigator. His practice includes shareholder/partnership/LLC disputes, probate & trust, non-competitive agreement enforcement, general business, construction, and real estate litigation.

John has notable trial experience and has participated in countless state and federal court trials in approximately 10 states. He has been recognized as one of America’s 100 Top Attorneys, Best Lawyers in America, and Super Lawyers.

Prior to joining the firm, John was a solo practitioner after being one of the founding partners and practitioners at Parsons, Farnell, and Grein for over 20 years.

John received his J.D. from BYU Law and his bachelor’s degree from Utah State University. He is admitted to practice in Oregon and Washington. He is also admitted before the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, and several district courts, including the Federal District Court of Oregon, the Federal District Court of Eastern Washington, and the Federal District Court of Western Washington.
