Sussman Shank LLP is honored to represent Structural Unlimited Construction (“Structural”), a family-owned company serving contractors and owners in Oregon for 25 years.

Structural, now run by Jonathan and Samantha Donaca, has grown from a small, local structural steel company serving the Portland market to a “full service” structural steel and rough wood framing subcontractor working on projects of all sizes throughout Oregon. As Structural’s business has expanded, our construction and business attorneys have worked alongside the Donacas to support Structural’s operations, protect its interests, and strengthen its contracts and credit practices.

Like many businesses in the construction industry, Structural relies on timely payment for the labor and materials it provides. Sussman Shank has provided Structural with ongoing guidance on contract terms, account documentation, and enforcement strategies, including the filing of construction liens, to help ensure prompt payment.

Recently, our team helped Structural record and enforce a construction lien to obtain payment from a project owner after the owner’s lessee filed for bankruptcy protection during a tenant buildout project. Our ongoing teamwork and proactive approach, have allowed Structural to stay on top of its accounts receivable.

The attorney who works with Structural is William Fig.

“Bill is our trusted advisor and partner. He cares about Structural’s success. He is the go-to legal resource for Structural.” says Jonathan Donaca, owner of Structural.
