Paxton is the newest member of the firm. His areas of focus are Business, Litigation, and Business Restructuring and Bankruptcy.

Paxton returns to Sussman Shank after serving as a summer associate last year. During his time at the firm, he gained valuable experience in a wide range of business law and litigation matters including business transactions, contracts, business disputes, employment matters and litigation.

Additionally, Paxton served as a Law Clerk at Willamette University’s Community Justice and Environmental Law Clinic, and the Trusts & Estates Clinic where he gained valuable experience in the areas of administrative law and estate planning.

I pride myself on being an attentive listener and always ready to respond to client needs.  When working on client matters, I make it a point to familiarize myself with the industry, so I can better understand the unique challenges and provide the best possible support.

PERSONAL INTERESTS

I have a passion for tennis and a long history of successful competition as an athlete and a coach. In college, I was an NCAA All-American at Trinity University, TX. After college, I moved into coaching. I was the Boys’ Tennis Head Coach at Summit High School in Bend, Oregon, from 2018-21. During law school, I was the assistant coach for the Willamette University Men’s and Women’s tennis team.
