When providing liaison services relevant to physicians and their patients, you must keep the law concerning referring physicians top of mind. You need to know what you can and cannot do as to the Stark Law in regard to non-monetary compensation. Jack Caynon will cover the annual limits and the government's expectations on education, tracking, and auditing non-monetary compensation. Finally, he will cover typical scenarios liaisons face and guide you through them.

About Jack Caynon
Jack is a health care attorney with Sussman Shank LLP. While he has provided health care advice and counsel on a variety of issues, he regularly counsels clients on a national basis regarding compliance and physician practice issues. He is a frequent speaker on issues related to the physician self-referral statute (Stark Law), hospital-physician transactions, physician compensation, governance, and health care valuation issues.  Prior to receiving his J.D. from Yale Law School, Jack served as a foreign language interpreter in the United States Air Force.
