Julie has been with Sussman Shank for over 30 years. As a passionate and driven professional, Julie’s career is focused on the use of technology to support our litigation needs and the streamlining of the firm’s litigation processes. Julie is involved in all phases of litigation support including factual investigation, research, document management and production, and trial support. She has a strong background in eDiscovery processes, collection and processing of documents, and the use of eDiscovery platforms such as Everlaw and Relativity.

Julie assists with a variety of complex litigation work in lawsuits pending in multiple states and jurisdictions, including all aspects of the litigation cycle from initial due diligence through appeal. Her experience covers a wide range of practice areas including general and complex commercial litigation. Additionally, as a member of our construction group, Julie assists in preparing construction bond and lien claims, and administrative claims against contractors’ surety bonds.

I enjoy working with our litigation team to navigate the complex world of e-discovery and litigation support processes with greater efficiency, accuracy, and cost-effectiveness. I have a keen eye for detail and a passion for organization and structure to help keep everything on track.

PERSONAL INTERESTS

I enjoy a diverse range of activities outside of my professional life. I am a Master Gardener, and enjoy the peaceful solitude of an afternoon weeding my vegetable beds or planting flowers. I equally enjoy spending time with family and friends – whether hiking, golfing or cycling.

My husband and I have four grown children, living in three different states, and welcome the opportunity to travel to visit them. Although I grew up in Portland and love the Pacific Northwest, I also love spending time in Palm Springs.
