Overview
Julie is a business lawyer with a focus on estate and wealth preservation planning, probate and trust administration, and charitable planning.  She also assists clients with gift and income taxation as it relates to estates, trusts, and individual beneficiaries.

Julie represents a variety of different clients, including farmers, commercial real estate investors, business owners, physicians, lawyers, and executives.  She particularly enjoys advising families regarding inter-generational planning strategies to encourage the smooth transition of wealth — whether comprised of a family-owned business, a real estate portfolio, or the family farm — from one generation to the next.  Julie is committed to employing sophisticated planning strategies while not losing sight of the practical concerns of her clients.

A native of Phoenix, Arizona, Julie earned her bachelor's degree from the University of Arizona in journalism and political science.  She went on to earn her law degree from Willamette University College of Law.  During law school, she worked as a law clerk at the Oregon Department of Justice in the Business Activities Section.

Julie prides herself on quickly connecting with people and giving her clients a sense of security about what lies ahead.  In her spare time, she enjoys running, spending time with her family, and serving the elderly population.  Julie lives in Lake Oswego with her husband, Tim, and their two young sons, Matthew and William.
