We are pleased to announce that Cliff Davidson has been recognized by the National LGBT Bar Association as one of the Best LGBT Lawyers Under 40 – Class of 2014. The LGBT Bar established this award to recognize outstanding lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender legal professionals under the age of 40 who have distinguished themselves in their field and demonstrated a profound commitment to LGBT equality.

Cliff is a commercial litigator who is experienced in a diverse array of litigation cases.  His practice includes commercial contract disputes, entertainment and intellectual property litigation, First Amendment litigation, and counseling in the areas of privacy and data security.  In addition to his regular caseload, Cliff is co-counsel for a student in Riverside, California, who was suspended and expelled from California Baptist University after school officials discovered she is transgender.  Trial in the matter is set to begin in July 2014.

"We are proud of Cliff's professional achievements and work on behalf of the LGBT community and congratulate him on this award," says Managing Partner Bob Carlton.

Cliff received his A.B. cum laude from Harvard University, and his J.D. from University of Michigan Law School.  Cliff will be recognized at an awards luncheon on Saturday, August 23, 2014, in conjunction with the 2014 Lavender Law® Conference & Career Fair.
