A native of Phoenix, Arizona, Julie earned her bachelor's degree from the University of Arizona in journalism and political science. She went on to earn her law degree from Willamette University College of Law. During law school, she worked as a law clerk at the Oregon Department of Justice in the Business Activities Section.

Julie prides herself on quickly connecting with people and giving her clients a sense of security about what lies ahead. In her spare time, she enjoys gardening, running, spending time with her family, and serving the elderly population. Julie lives in West Linn with her husband and their always entertaining goldendoodle, Gibson.
