As a seasoned Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), Greg brings over 30 years of experience in the legal technology industry.
With a deep understanding of the ever-evolving threat landscape and a passion for developing and implementing comprehensive security programs, Greg is committed to safeguarding the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of sensitive data as it applies to the daily operation of the firm. Throughout his career, Greg’s technical expertise spans across network security, application security, cloud security, identity and access management, incident response, and disaster recovery.
Greg regularly collaborates with firm leadership, officers, and committees to set the best balance between security strategies, initiatives, and other, non-technical priorities at the firm level.
Additionally, Greg is the firm’s network architect and is responsible for planning, designing, and managing data communication networks for the firm.
Prior to serving as the firm’s CISO, Greg served as the IT Director for over 20 years where he was responsible for planning, implementing, managing, securing, and maintaining the firm’s information and telecommunications systems. Greg has developed and implemented numerous customized software applications at Sussman Shank, which often includes collaborating with outside software developers to outline program requirements. Greg also has significant experience with firm-wide in-house training programs.
Greg is currently in the process of earning a CIPT certification.
